The chassis of the trains were completely renewed in 2020. This not only means more safety when driving, but also a further contribution to environmental protection. The old drive inverters have been converted to the latest technology to be energy-efficient.
The brakes now have a grid-compatible feedback. The braking energy is converted into electricity and fed back into the grid. Most of the electric motors will also save electricity in the future; they have been replaced by energy-efficient IE3 motors.
The entire technology of the system has been revised and converted to the state of DIN 13814.
